When you get involved, you help strengthen the lives of military veterans and their families across Western and Upstate New York. You help build camaraderie, expand support, and keep our players on the ice.
Play for the warriors
Flower City Warriors welcomes military veterans, active duty service members, reservists, National Guard members, DoD civilians, and military family members who want to join a mission-driven hockey community. It doesn’t matter if you are an experienced player or lacing up for the first time—what matters is character, respect, and commitment.
When you join our team, you join a brotherhood and sisterhood defined by discipline, resilience, and camaraderie. You gain a supportive environment that mirrors the team structure many of us miss after leaving the military.

You don’t need to put on skates to make an impact. Volunteers are a vital part of our mission—helping us run events, serve veterans, manage logistics, and strengthen our community presence.
If you’re organized, reliable, and passionate about supporting the military community, we welcome you to join our volunteer corps.
Volunteer Roles Include:
Event Support: Assist at games, tournaments, and community events
Fundraising Support: Help plan and execute fundraising initiatives
Photography & Media: Capture game footage, photos, and highlights
Marketing & Communications: Support social media, outreach, and storytelling
Logistics & Equipment: Assist with gear, set-up, and team operations
Community Outreach: Represent FCW at events and ceremonies
