“Connecting with a Veteran Hockey Team and a Veteran organization in general has allowed me back into a community of guys who have a lot of the same experiences I have. Having a supporting family system is excellent, but when they cannot share in those same experiences, it is sometimes difficult to talk to them about my time in the Army.

Being able to connect with the other vets on this team has allowed me to share my love for and experience in hockey with other guys trying to grow in the game and develop hobbies outside of military life”
